My Certification Experience

I have been working with DotStark Technologies for a few years now, and I had already cleared the Kentico Xperience 13 Certified Developer exam earlier.  

So, when I heard about the new certification for Xperience by Kentico, I decided to go for it right away! 

Let me walk you through the process so that you know what to expect. 

Step 1: Prepare Well 📝

Before you start the certification process, it’s important to prepare. Kentico provides a list of resources, and you should definitely go through them. Here’s what I did to prepare: 

• I read the official documentation for Xperience by Kentico to understand the features and tools better.
• I set up a test website to try out the things I was learning.
• I practiced key areas like content modeling, GDPR, and CI/CD.

These resources will help you get familiar with the exam topics. 

Step 2: Take the Sample Test

Kentico offers a sample test that is very similar to the real exam. It’s a great way to understand the type of questions you’ll face. The sample test will give you five multiple-choice questions with detailed explanations of the correct answers. 

Make sure you take this test to get comfortable with the format. It really helps build your confidence. 

Step 3: The Real Exam

The main exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and you have 75 minutes to complete it. Don’t worry—the time is more than enough if you are prepared. The passing score is 70%, but if you score 64% or higher, Kentico offers a consultation to help you improve.

2. Open the MSSQL Server Database: Keep your database accessible to easily search for data or verify queries when needed.
3. Run the Xperience by Kentico administration: Have the Kentico administrator panel open to swiftly navigate through settings and configurations.
4. Keep the necessary Kentico documentation handy: Make sure you have the relevant documentation open for quick reference during the exam.
